Running a company is only successful when you can reach your target audience. People need to know what you are selling in order to buy it, right? This is the beauty of advertising, and specifically, online advertising.

Online advertising is simple, effective, and designed to convert our website visitors into visitors on your company's website so they can become your future customers. 

Unlike traditional methods, online is simple AND actionable.  

Neither paper, magazine, or radio is primarily designed to drive your future customers directly to your company website immediately after interacting with your ad. Think about that. They see your advertisement in the paper or magazine and then flip on with good intentions of checking you out. But do they? They hear your ad on the radio, and then you are likely long forgotten ten commercials later as they arrive at their destination. They pick up your pamphlet at a trade show, and then the entire bag of brochures is shoved away into the closet. These are your hard-earned advertising dollars. Have they just been spent as effectively as they could be?

Online advertising is elegant in its simplicity. They see your ad on a website that has content targeted to them. They care about the website enough to show up. The publisher has earned their trust already. They then proceed to search and find the content they came looking for. As they enjoy the content from a publisher that they know, like, and trust, they are already better positioned to be receptive to what you are selling. 

They see your banner, and if it is compelling, they click the banner and end up on your website. You now have the opportunity to tell them more about you, provide value with strong content, and capture their information so that they soon become a lead. 

Which advertising strategy sounds more effective? Can you capture your potential customer’s information as easily from paper, magazine, or radio? No. It is not impossible; however, it is nowhere near as simple as online advertising is. I am a business owner, and when it comes to spending money on advertising for our portfolio of companies, I will pick online every time.
