Farm Shows Cancelled? No problem.

Uncategorized Jan 27, 2021

Hi There,

I will be the first one to admit that I love a good farm show.

Getting out of the office, hitting the open road, seeing farmers and trade show peers, and browsing the show grounds. There is nothing like the face to face opportunities that trade shows provide.

I don't think that anyone expected to be going into our second year of no trade shows. I didn't. Although nobody can predict precisely what will happen in 2021, we already know that farm shows are canceled for Q1, and many are crossing our fingers but no longer holding their breath for summer shows.

As I speak to business owners and agri-marketers across the country, I continually hear a lot of frustration and concern. Rightfully so. Trade shows have been a staple of our marketing plans and budgets since the beginning of time.

Now what?

As they say, "you can either go through it or grow through it" and our response will ultimately determine our 2021 business results.

No Farm Shows. No Problem.

It's time to pivot. We need to add more tools into our marketing tool belts. To have a well-rounded marketing plan so that when one advertising tactic like trade shows are no longer available, we lean on the other advertising strategies a little more, and our business does not skip a beat.

Marketing is the lifeblood of a healthy business.

Marketing is to business as air is to humans. It's critical for life. For companies to survive and thrive, we need an efficient and dependable means of attracting a sufficient flow of qualified leads and buyers.

It's critical!

Over the last year, I have been having many great conversations about the power of online advertising to place companies in front of Canadian farmers. Experienced online marketers are leaning harder on and beefing up their online advertising efforts now that trade shows are out. Many companies dipped their toes into the online advertising waters for the first time in 2020.

No matter what happens with farm shows, conference, events, and continued pandemic business restrictions, online advertising can give you a solid marketing to plan to place your company in front of farmers 3-6-5 days a year so that you can generate exposuredrive traffic to your website, and convert these prospects into qualified leads.

Instead of sweating buckets under the scorching sun or trying to stay dry, almost getting your vehicle stuck in show parking lots (fields), and lugging loads and loads of supplies for miles....our online advertising memberships can help you reach farmers without leaving the office or breaking a sweat :)
