Marketers Turn to Display Advertising During Pandemic to The Tune of $150 Billion

Uncategorized Nov 11, 2020

With @StatistaCharts predicting more than $150 billion in global display advertising revenue despite the pandemic, it’s clear that display is a critical component of most marketer's plans -- and is likely to remain so.

In the agriculture industry, farm shows have been canceled for all of 2020 and into 2021 already. Farm shows are one of our marketing staples. Farmers love trade shows. For decades, we have relied on shows to place our companies, products, and services in front of farmers. Now with COVID19, they are no longer an option in their traditional in-person format. Now what? How are we going to rise to meet this challenge?

It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes...

“Every challenge, every adversity, contains within it the seeds of opportunity and growth.”― Roy T. Bennett.

As business owners, agri-marketers, and media buyers, can we find a positive in this situation? Can we pivot?

Shaking up our advertising tactics is no longer optional. Now what? Many companies and brands are flocking to online advertising. The benefits are many, including the fact that you do not even need to leave the office to reach your future customers.

Have you incorporated display advertising (online advertising) into your marketing budget? Unsure how it works or where to start?

We are here to serve. Literally and figuratively. Here at Farm Marketer, it is our mission to our clients to reach Canadian farmers through online advertising. Feel free to give me a call.

I love helping our clients succeed :)
